Orwell (she/they) is a queer, Joburg-based DJ and event producer known for curating bold, energetic soundscapes that summon you to the dancefloor. Blending house, minimal, electronic, and disco, Orwell connects the old and new through bouncy beats, creating moments of escape, rhythm, and community.
In 2024, Orwell became a resident at Club A.M and founded The Breakfast Club, a queer and femme-identifying focused event. They’ve performed at top venues and festivals across Joburg and Cape Town, including And Club, Mødular, Mary Jane’s Hacienda, Kitcheners, The Playground, EVOL, Bad Manors, Mieliepop Festival, and more.

Thabang is a boundary-pushing artist who lives to move dance floorswhether through DJing, curating parties, or creating unforgettable moments. A resident at Mary Jane's Hacienda The Loft, member of electronic band THA LAB, and host of events like SHIT MUSIC SATURDAYZ and Chesss Klubb, Thabang continues to shape and inspire the electronic music scene.
Tanica Skye
On the scene for 6 years, Tanica Skye has been carving her own sound for just over a year—rooted in jazz influences and a deep love for house. As co-host of Chesss Klubb, she’s played at The Loft, Apartment’s Bordello, SMS, and more, bringing minimal sounds and soulful energy to every set.

2wice Shye is a Duo in the studio, and JonT performs for 2wice Shye live. Johannesburg-based, with over 15 years of experience, known for hypnotic hybrid sets that blend genres through fast-moving clips and original productions. Their latest EP Unveiled, out through Diffuse Reality Records, is a raw self-portrait in sound, exploring intimacy, identity, and resistance through ambient textures, techno loops, and layered sounds. Built outside traditional studios, the project carries emotional weight and quiet rebellion music made to be felt, not just heard.
