2WICE SHYE

2wice Shye has been producing and DJing for over 15 years. He started as a teenager using SL1200 turntables and has since transitioned to hybrid sets that incorporate a mix of equipment. His performances have become increasingly dynamic, as he no longer plays full songs. Instead, he typically plays clips lasting 30 seconds to 1 minute, allowing him to plan his next move or showcase a new release he has produced. His main style is hypnotic, and he incorporates various genres within that spectrum.

Their electrifying performances have lit up venues such as Kitcheners, The Compound and The Roof Fourways, as well as events like Igqom Egoli and Friends of Gqom. Beyond the decks, MINISIBISI is dedicated to pushing Gqom’s evolution, curating fresh sounds and championing emerging artists. TANICA SKYE

I have been on the scene for about 6 years and fell in love with the music and the culture from the very first time I found it. I now have been discovering my own sound as an artist for just over a year which has been nothing but a journey filled with beautiful moments and some challenging ones. I co-host an event called Chesss Klubb where we focus on minimal sounds, Ive played at events such as The Loft, the bordello for Apartment, SMS and a few others. My sound is heavily influenced by jazz with an undying love for house music.

CIMET

My name is Cimet, a DJ and producer from Johannesburg. I'm a sonic explorer for club sounds from the global south underground aiming to spotlight musicianship, culture, imagination, and collaboration in all my efforts. As a DJ I mainly focus on gqom, isqinsi, and african techno but I am able to shift towards softer house sounds that pay homage to afro-house (BEFORE europe colonised the beautiful sound) and its purveyors including 3-step, as the crowd calls for it. At the end of the day I believe that DJ'ing is about having a conversation with the audience and sharing our contemporary musicians stories in their compositions and remixes.

NIGHTCRAWLERZ

We are NightCrawlerz. More than just DJs, we’re architects of energy, movement and deep, immersive sound. Through hypnotic underground techno, the pulse of Afro tech, or the raw grit of grime, our sound transcends genres and ignites dance floors.

We create the playground for the creatures of the night, but we’re also here to create a sonic experience that lingers long after the night ends.
